The setting of Burrows Court is one of its most attractive features. The garden is surrounded by open countryside with beautiful views of the Cotswold Edge. Nibley Green, about half a mile from the picturesque village of North Nibley, is a tranquil hamlet despite its historic connections! It was the site in 1470, of the last battle in England between the private armies of Lord Lisle and Lord Berkeley. Berkeley Castle itself is nearby together with Slimbridge Wildfowl Trust and many other places of interest including 2 local golf courses. Burrows Court is ideally situated for visits to the south Cotswold villages, Westonbirt Arboretum and Cattle Country Adventure Park. The historic cities of Bath, Gloucester, Cheltenham and Bristol are only 30 minutes drive away.
