OCCUPANCY Under no circumstances may more than 12 persons occupy the property. Please note that due to the nature of the building, Burrows Court is not suitable for people unable to climb at least one flight of stairs.
START DATES The arrival and departure day for weekly holidays is Friday except for Christmas/New Year when weekly holidays commence on a Monday. Short break holidays are for 3 nights starting Friday (weekend), or 4 nights, starting Monday (midweek).
SMOKING Please note that smoking is not allowed inside the building.
PETS We welcome a well-behaved pet (one only per booking). Pets are charged at £15.00 per week (or part-week). Pets should not be left unattended in the property and the grounds do not have pet-proof boundaries. Pet-owners are responsible for providing the pet’s bedding and food bowls.
HIGHCHAIRS AND STAIR-GATES One high chair and three stair-gates are provided.
ARRIVAL & DEPARTURE The property will be available from 4pm on the day of arrival. Please vacate the property by 10am on the day of departure. You will be informed of any change to these times when you receive your confirmation. Please telephone if you are delayed so that arrangements can be revised.
CENTRAL HEATING There is no addition charge for heating and hot water.
LINEN Bed linen for all beds is provided and beds will be made up before your arrival. Towels and tea-towels are provided.
CLEANING The property is thoroughly cleaned between holidays but, because only a limited time is available for this, we ask that you leave the property and its contents clean and tidy. We provide basic cleaning/washing-up items (J-cloth, sponge/scourer). We do not provide personal toiletries, kitchen/bathroom/laundry disposables eg. paper-towel, cling-film & toilet-tissue (we do ensure some of the latter available in each bathroom at the start of your visit).
PARKING There is a main car park to the left of the entrance of Burrows Court with ample space for parking and an area nearer the house for off-loading cases and picking up personnel, etc.
SHOPPING The nearest large supermarket is at Cam (5-10 minute drive) and there is also a farm shop on the road into Wotton-under-Edge. In Wotton itself (10 minutes by car) there is a large selection of shops including a butchers, bakers and newsagents. North Nibley has a Village Store / Post Office.
GETTING AROUND Public transport is extremely limited in this area so a car is essential.
EATING OUT There are several pubs which serve food within a 10 minute drive. Slightly further afield there are numerous pubs, restaurants and tea shops catering for a wide range of tastes. There is a brochure in the lounge where examples of menus provided by local pubs and restaurants can be found.
